Ограбление по-английски (2001)

The story follows Terry Leather, a small-time crook in London, who gets involved in a high-stakes heist after being released from prison. His old friend, Gal, convinces him to join a plan to rob a security van carrying millions. Terry reluctantly agrees, needing the money to support his estranged wife, Kate, and their son. The crew includes Dave, a nervous driver; Brian, the brains behind the operation; and Tom, a volatile enforcer.

The heist is meticulously planned: they’ll intercept the van on its route, using stolen uniforms and fake IDs. Terry’s job is to disable the van’s tracking system. On the day of the robbery, things go sideways when Tom panics and shoots a guard. The team escapes with the money but leaves behind evidence.

Back at their hideout, tensions rise. Brian insists they lay low, but Tom grows increasingly erratic. Meanwhile, Terry tries to reconnect with Kate, sneaking into her flat late at night. “I just want to make things right,” he tells her, but she’s skeptical.

The police close in after tracing the stolen uniforms to Gal. In a desperate move, Terry hides the money in a storage locker and gives Kate the key. “If something happens to me, take it and leave,” he says. The film ends with Terry arrested, staring out of a police van as Kate watches from a distance, clutching the key in her hand.
